1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Speranza Bounties, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this platform.

2. Description of Service

Speranza Bounties is a community-driven platform for tracking player betrayals within the game Arc Raiders. Users can report players, vote on reports, and submit proof of in-game eliminations. We also provide an optional downloadable overlay tool that displays active bounty information while playing Arc Raiders.

3. Overlay Tool

The Speranza Bounties overlay is an optional downloadable tool that displays active bounty information on your screen while playing Arc Raiders. By downloading and using the overlay, you agree to:

• Use the overlay for informational purposes only
• Not modify, reverse engineer, or distribute modified versions of the overlay
• Comply with Arc Raiders' Terms of Service and Embark Studios' policies
• Accept that the overlay is provided "as is" without warranty

The overlay does not modify game files, inject code, or provide unfair advantages. It is a read-only display tool that shows publicly available bounty information from our platform.

4. User Conduct

You agree to:

• Only report legitimate in-game betrayals
• Provide accurate Embark IDs when submitting reports
• Not abuse the voting system or create false reports
• Not harass, threaten, or target individuals outside of the game
• Not attempt to manipulate or exploit the platform

4a. Item Rewards & Delivery Confirmation

Users may optionally attach an in-game Arc Raiders item, weapon, or blueprint as a reward when posting a bounty. If a reward is added, the poster must provide their Discord username and Embark ID, which will be displayed to the hunter when they submit a kill claim. By posting a reward bounty, you agree to:

• Provide an accurate Discord username and Embark ID so hunters can contact you
• Deliver the stated reward to the confirmed bounty hunter once an admin approves the kill
• Coordinate the in-game item exchange directly with the hunter via Discord
• Confirm reward delivery when the hunter marks it as received
• Accept that Speranza Bounties is not responsible for mediating, guaranteeing, or enforcing any item reward trades
• Not post false or misleading rewards to attract hunters under false pretenses

Reward Delivery Process: When a hunter receives a reward, they will confirm delivery in the Reward Tracker. The bounty poster then has 48 hours to confirm completion. If the poster does not confirm within 48 hours, the reward automatically marks as complete. This dual-confirmation system protects both parties by ensuring accountability.

All item reward transactions occur entirely between players and are outside the control of this platform. We strongly encourage players to act in good faith.

5. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Any activity under your account is your responsibility. Report unauthorized access immediately.

6. Content Ownership

By submitting content (reports, votes, proof images), you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, display, and store that content for platform operations. You retain ownership of your original content.

7. Moderation

Administrators reserve the right to remove content, reject kill submissions, reset votes, or ban users who violate these terms. Moderation decisions are final.

8. Advertising

By using this platform, you acknowledge and agree that we display third-party advertisements (including Google AdSense) to support the operation of this service. These advertisements may be personalized based on your browsing activity.

We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or any products or services advertised. Clicking on advertisements is at your own risk.

9. Disclaimer & Affiliation

This platform is provided "as is" without warranties. Speranza Bounties is an independent, fan-made community project created purely for entertainment and role-playing purposes. We are in no way affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Embark Studios or the Arc Raiders development team. All game-related content, names, and references are the property of their respective owners. This is a community tool made by fans, for fans.

10. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of this platform, including but not limited to in-game consequences, account issues, or disputes between users.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Email Communications

By creating an account, you agree that we may email you about account activity, security notices, platform updates, and other operational messages necessary for the service to function. With your consent, we may also send optional community updates or promotional announcements. You can unsubscribe from these optional emails at any time using the link provided in the message. We do not sell or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.
